Moonlight Peaks Water Bubbles, or water ripples, are diving locations you can interact with after unlocking the Mermaid form. You might have seen these swirls appearing on bodies of water and wondered what their purpose is. Once you complete the quest A Mermaid’s Wish and unlock the Aqua form, you will be able to swim and access new treasure locations.
How to Unlock Mermaid Form and Dive Into Moonlight Peaks Water Bubbles
The Mermaid Form or Aqua Form is unlocked after completing the late-game quest A Mermaid’s Wish. Once you have unlocked the transformation, you can dive into the water bubble locations.
How to Trigger A Mermaid’s Wish Quest in Moonlight Peaks
There are four steps to triggering and completing the quest that unlocks the Mermaid Form:
- Step 1: Complete A Curious Passage quest. Progress through the main story until Ludo appears at the broken bridge in Howling Marches or at your house and triggers the A Curious Passage quest.
- Step 2: Complete The Mysterious Bay quest. Interact with Samael outside the Howling Hammer to start The Mysterious Bay quest.
- Step 3: Complete Ludo’s Plan quest. Interact with Ludo at your house and complete his request to trigger Kim’s quest line.
- Step 4: Complete A Mermaid’s Wish quest. Once the quest is in your journal, complete the five tasks to unlock the ability to transform into a mermaid.
Wait a few days in between steps to unlock the next quest in line.
How to Dive into Water Bubbles Spots
Select the Aqua form transformation to turn into a mermaid.
Enter the water and swim into the Moonlight Peaks Water Bubbles spots. Press the dive key and your character will go underwater and resurface with random loot, such as coins or blueprints.
Don’t bother fishing in water ripples, because you will not catch any special fish. The water swirls are simply treasure locations you can only enter in Mermaid form.
