The Moonlight Peaks Golden Egg is a rare item you can get from Cheeken animals. This precious item can be gifted, sold, or used in cooking recipes.
How to Get and Use Golden Eggs in Moonlight Peaks
There’s only one way to get Golden Eggs, and that’s through the Barn feature. The good news is that you can set up a Barn early on. The bad news is that Golden Eggs are rare drops. There’s no guarantee that Cheekens will lay these eggs each night. No other Moonlight Peaks animals can produce these items, and there’s no way to increase the drop rate.
How to Get Golden Eggs from Cheekens

To unlock the Barn, you must complete the early-game quest, Farm Animals for Sale. Build the Barn and buy a Cheeken from Luna for 1200 coins. Don’t forget that Cheekens need food, so put fodder in the feeder. The feeding trough holds 100 fodder, which you can easily get from the Refiner using Fiber. Start with regular fodder and upgrade to premium fodder. It takes 50 regular fodder and one Mana Essence to get premium fodder. Once you have the barn up and running, the Cheekens will start laying eggs each day. If you’re lucky, you might get a Golden Egg instead of a regular one. Check the barn every day and hope for this rare item.
How to Use the Moonlight Peaks Golden Egg

The Golden Egg has four uses:
- Quest item. Have the first one put aside, because you will need it for a quest.

The best use for a Moonlight Peaks Golden Egg is to give it as a gift. Most residents prefer these items over other Moonlight Peaks gifts. If you want to romance a character, the Golden Egg is guaranteed to make them like you.
