Reanimal Shot Through the Heart is a trophy obtained during the Mother boss fight in Chapter 5. To unlock it, you must survive long enough to defeat 10 ads before defeating the boss. This is a base game trophy you can unlock even if you don’t have the new Reanimal The Prisoner DLC.
How to Unlock the Reanimal Shot Through the Heart Trophy
Progress through Chapter 5: Down in a Hole and start the fight against the spider boss. The Mother boss is accompanied by Spider Kids who fight by their side, throwing spears at you.
The spears allow you to kill the boss and unlock the Shot Through the Heart achievement. Dodge the spears and pick them up. When the boss goes into hiding, throw the spears at the Spider Kids. Do this 10 times to unlock the Reanimal Shot Through the Heart trophy.
The important thing is to survive long enough to kill 10 Spider Kids. During the fight, the boss will reappear from the center or from the left. If the boss appears from the center, move left. If the boss appears from the left, move as far away as possible to the right.
Don’t throw any spears at the boss before you get the achievement. The trophy will unlock during the fight. As long as you remember to hide from the boss when it reappears, you can hold on long enough to get the 10 kills. If you accidentally kill the boss, use the Restart Checkpoint option to replay the fight.
