The Graveyard Keeper 2 Writing Desk is a basement facility that handles the creation of Church-related items. It’s unlocked in the early stages and used throughout the game to craft Stories, Prayers, Science Kits, and more.
How to Get the Graveyard Keeper 2 Writing Desk
The Writing Desk is placed in the Writing Basement of your home. You unlock this room by following Januarius’ quests:
- What the Fairy? Speak with Januarius at the Village Tavern in the early game.
- Good Fellow. Januarius tells you that the Plague Doctor can help with Dream Dust.
- Dungeons and that’s it, probably. Larry mentions that you might be able to meet the Plague Doctor if you fix the hatch in your home.
Fix the hatch using one Bronze Detail and two Boards. You need Building Mastery 2 to complete the task. Once the hatch is fixed, you can enter the Writing Basement and access the Writing Room building table. The Writing Desk blueprint is available by default in the Theology section of the Tech Tree. To build the Writing Desk, you need:
- Wooden Plank x 4.
- Bronze Nails x 6.
- Polished Bronze x 1.
How to Use the Writing Desk
You’ll first use the Writing Desk to obtain the items needed for Agatha’s Nun of Your Business quest, Clean Paper and Ink. As you spend Tech Points, you unlock Theology tiles and gain access to some of the most important game items, Prayers.
