The Moonlight Peaks Upgrade Tools feature allows you to obtain sturdier and more efficient equipment. The rusty tools are fine in the beginning, but you will need better ones for harvesting, mining, fishing, and farming in the late game. The game offers several upgrade tiers. Ridge at the Howling Hammer shop handles the first three tiers. Sabrina at the Webb of Wonders sells the best in-game tools.
Moonlight Peaks Upgrade Tools Costs and Availability
The starting tools are:
- Rusty Axe.
- Rusty Pickaxe.
- Rusty Watering Can.
- Rusty Shovel.
- Rusty Scythe.
First, buy the upgraded versions from Ridge at the Howling Hammer. Once you’ve purchased the first Gold tool, check out the Webb of Wonders shop for Enchanted tools.
The Broken Wand starting tool is upgraded as you reach game milestones and complete story quests.
Moonlight Peaks Tool Upgrades From the Howling Hammer
Ridge at the Howling Hammer is in charge of your first tool upgrades. You can upgrade your rusty Moonlight Peaks tools as soon as you have enough coins and resources. If you’re confused about the upgrade process, that’s because you don’t actually craft the upgraded tools yourself. You buy the upgraded version from Ridge. Visit the Howling Hammer shop on weekdays between 6 PM – 12 PM and tell Ridge that you want to buy something. Select the Tools tab to see the Moonlight Peaks Upgrade Tools options and costs.
Axe Upgrades
Better Axes allow you to cut down bigger trees and reduce the number of hits required to chop them down.

How to Unlock Enchanted Tools at the Webb of Wonders
Moonlight Peaks Enchanted Tools represent the highest tier of upgrades. You unlock these special tools after buying the first Gold variant for any tool. Visit Ridge and buy a Gold upgrade. After six in-game days, Noel will speak to you outside your house, informing you that Enchanted Tools are now available at the Webb of Wonders. You will also get a letter from Sabrina inviting you to check out the shop.
